Universal Filters has manufactured industrial filter bags in Asbury Park, New Jersey since 1979. We cut, sew, and ultrasonically weld filter bags in our own plant — standard sizes by the case, custom configurations by the drawing, and everything in between.
What Makes Us Different
We’re the factory. Most “filter bag suppliers” are distributors selling someone else’s production. When you buy from Universal Filters you’re talking directly to the people who select the media, set the cut patterns, and run the seamers. Spec questions get real answers, custom work gets engineered instead of declined, and problems get fixed at the source.
Four decades of media knowledge. Our felt specifications are deliberately engineered around multiple qualified vendors. FDA-grade media, high-temperature Nomex, and specialty constructions are stocked programs, not exotic requests.
Distributor-friendly. Much of our production ships through filtration distributors nationwide. If you prefer to buy through your existing distributor, we’ll work with them.
