What We Customize

Specialty & Exotic Media

Beyond the standard felts and meshes, we fabricate bags from specialty media that most catalogs skip. The one we’re asked about most is canton flannel — a napped cotton fabric that has been used in filtration for generations, prized in duties like paint, varnish, and lacquer straining and plating-solution filtration, where the soft nap face polishes the liquid and releases cake cleanly. Canton flannel filter bags are a made-to-order item: tell us the dimensions and top style (ring, drawstring, or tie-on) and we’ll sew them to suit. Other specialty constructions — multi-layer combinations, oil-absorbing layers, glazed finishes, high-temperature media — are quoted the same way: describe the duty and we’ll spec the fabric.
